Rolling Stone Magazine Is Officially Crap
Call it what you will: They "SOLD OUT," they "Lost their edge," they, "went totally corporate" I'll even take the age old, "Rock & Roll is dead" crap. There is NO reason for Zac Efron to be on the cover of Rolling Stone. Period.
Listen, I know if you're a parent you see this "High School Musical" shit in your sleep. Your daughter loves this pussy-boy, Zac. And that's fine and dandy, and all, but just keep it in the pages of Tigerbeat Magazine, okay? Just cause you're old and have kids doesn't mean Rock has to comply with your pussified life. When did you get a say in Rolling Stone? A magazine that became popular for gracing Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and um, THE ROLLING STONES on their covers.
This is almost too annoying to even rant about. I just think about the 12 bands who get to be on this cover every year, and the great bands out there right now, and can't help but to think of the waste this one was. Who got knocked off for this? You could have put a black and white photo of Luciano Pavarotti on this cover with the only text, "1935-2007" and it would have been MORE Rock & Roll than this Zac Efron crap.
And Zac, it's not your fault, dude. I've been hard on you. The press has been hard on you, too. We know you're a talented guy in this Musical Theater world today. We don't blame you, it's this Disney machinery that has the power to sell you to the wrong market.

We finally agree! Rolling Stone has been crap for years. I think the last issue I bought was at least ten years ago. I do have to say it's nice to see a chick with curves and a bit of hair, rather than those twigs you like with the genitals of a six year old.
