I saw a documentary on PETA the other day (HBO as I recall) ... the focus was on the cofounder. She is a well intentioned lady but she is a kook for sure. Even the other animal rights group shy away from PETA and their methods (they do recognize that PETA has done some good things too) as carried to the extreme.
I don't like animal cruelty either but eating meat and wearing fur don't have to be 'cruel' .
